Entertainment meets empowerment in Prime Video’s new film ‘Run Sweetheart Run.’
The dark and thrilling film follows single mom Cherie, portrayed powerfully by the incredible Ella Balinska, as she meets with one of her boss’ most important clients. Despite initially being apprehensive for the meeting, Cherie is then overjoyed when she meets the client — the seemingly charming and charismatic Ethan, played masterfully by Pilou Asbæk.
Quickly, Ethan sweeps Cherie off her feet. However, not everything is as it seems. At the end of the night, when the two are alone, Ethan reveals his violent and true nature. Petrified for her life, Cherie runs away, starting a relentless game of cat-and-mouse with a blood thirsty assailant determined to create destruction.
Run Sweetheart Run is an action-packed thriller that will keep audiences captivated and on the edge of their seats from start to finish. Complete with sensational talent both in front of and behind the camera, the resulting film is gripping, suspenseful, and thrilling.
Shana Feste helms the film as director. She wrote the screenplay alongside Keith Josef Adkins and Kellee Terrell. While Feste, Effie T. Brown, Jason Blum, and Brian Kavanaugh-Jones serve as the film’s producers.
