Starz’s BMF returned for its second season earlier this month and a few days after it premiered, news broke that the successful series is being renewed for its third season.
That is not the only news that came out of it. BMF’s season two premiere drew over four million viewers overnight. With those numbers being in the line of HBO’s The Last of Us, it is clear that BMF is seeing success beyond its niche audience as the franchise will also have spinoffs in the coming year.
Demetrius “Lil Meech” Flenroy Jr. plays as his father on the series. On the second season, we see Meech forming the actual BMF crew while also being guided by K-9. With that going on, Lamar is hunting down Meech and is not stopping until he and BMF is wiped out of existence.
The series is based on real life events and Lil Meech’s portrayal of his father has received critical acclaim. This also lead to Lil Meech being casted on Euphoria’s most recent season.
This is not the end goal of the young actor as he is also looking into the future as he wants continue his acting career. In this exclusive interview, we catch up with Lil Meech as he gives his take on the recent episodes of BMF, the Detroit fires in the late 80’s, wanting to open a production studio one day, and his response on which Power universe show he would like to be on.
