Sharkbait! Hoo ha ha! With the end of the summer coming soon, it only seems fitting to have another shark movie hit theaters. Sharks have always been the center of a plethora of thrillers, and although the plot of a very hungry shark isn’t new – the characters make a world of the difference. A sequel to the original ’47 Meters Down: Uncaged’, this film shows what happens when a group of girls decide to head underwater uncaged.
As most of this film is shot underwater, we tilt our hats to the brilliant actors who managed to film such a physically demanding role. These actors all went through extensive scuba training and by the end of it conquered every take like seasoned pros. “You have to be disciplined, focused and adaptable, we had to learn to meditate underwater to kinda of cancel out all of those distractions”, said Brianne Tju. “There’s an element of embracing everything…any new experience just know that you gotta go through it”, explained Khylin Rhambo. When speaking about the training the underwent prior to filming, Davi Santos stated that they all had “zip” experience, and learned on set.
Make make sure you go watch “47 Meters Down:Uncaged” which is theaters now!
