Last weekend we sat down with the creators of Halo, the series based on the same name to talk about the various aspects of what went into the show as well as their familiarity with the games themselves.
Pablo Schreiber (Master Chief), spoke about what it was like playing the legendary character, as well as the pressure of living up to fan’s expectations. Chief.
We also got to sit with Jen Taylor, the voice behind Cortana not only in the TV-series, but the original voice in every game in the series. She spoke about the differences between being in the voice booth for the originals and shifting to motion capture with the newer games and the series as well.
Some other stars we sat down with were Natascha McElhone (Dr. Halsey), and of course Olive Gray, Halo’s latest nonbinary cast member who plays Miranda Keyes, a powerful scientist who definitely adds to the shows already bravado character list.
Kiki Wolfkill, producer of Halo 4, who now oversees the Halo franchise multimedia transmedia at 343 Industries, also spoke about what it was like to create a show with such an already established fanbase. She also spoke about the criticism from fan’s she took into consideration while creating the show, which according to her was all the time.
