However, Alicia Keys’s popular musical “Hell’s Kitchen” reminds us of the good ole’ days.

Bess Wohl has written the story of a group of women holding a discussion group in 1970. Liberation describes how these women meet to talk about their lives. Their backgrounds are very different. The discussions led to their efforts to try to change their lives and the world. Although they are meeting in Ohio, their story is universal.
Dynamic Duos: Urban Stages Showcases Emerging Playwrights with Comedy and Drama
Urban Stages, under the direction of Frances Hill, works to discover new artists and their works. They also have an outreach program that presents free plays and workshops throughout the five boroughs. The presentation, Dynamic Duos – Double Bill, showcases two plays that were selected from over 300 submissions. The comedy, The Audit, and the drama, The American Dream, are very different works that highlight the power and talents of new and upcoming writers and actors.
It was Valentine’s Day, and my fabulous friend and I were in search of a golden show to cap off our evening. After dining at Pink Taco and taking in the breathtaking views from the top of the of Empire State Building, we agreed that nothing epitomized romance quite like Urinetown at New York City Center.
