Check out DYNE’s Spring/Summer 19 collection!
Last week DYNE showcased their latest collection for New York Fashion Week Mens SS19. DYNE partnered with Google Cloud and Bemis Associates to bring you the “Future Nomad” collection. Creative Director Christopher Bevans says the collection pays tribute to DYNE’s hometown of Portland. Bevans describes DYNE’s vision for this collection, DYNE’s connection is not only to the modern technological world but also to the natural world in which we all must coexist.”
The collection’s fabrics consist of Swiss Schoeller fabrics, Tollegno 1900, and Sewfree® bonding technology from Bemis. A trend among this collection was color-blocking and functional cargo pants. The color pallet was quite versatile incorporating red, blue, black, onyx. Asics were modeled in tandem with the collection, styled by Eugene Tong. Surrounding the models were plants and various greenery to better create the juxtaposition between nature and the futuristic elements of the garments.
Hair and makeup were styled by “Chika Chan for Make-up Pro and Joseph Dimaggio for Davines North America.” The hair and makeup helped tie together the “post-apocalyptic dystopian” aesthetic of this season. Makeup looks consisted of tribal triangle face paintings, while other models sported sunglasses or gas masks to fully bring the vision to life. Check out the latest collection below:
