This Wednesday evening, we attended Consinee Group’s second annual runway, “Stitched in Time,” and gala at the Cipriani Wall Street.
Named “The Core of Cashmere Excellence” by WWD, the Consinee Group aptly takes on this title by taking cashmere innovation to the forefront and capturing a global audience. Last year, the inaugural gala introduced hundreds of guests to the brand’s sustainable design and creative lens, defining itself publicly to the U.S. market as a leader in the industry. Consinee embarked to continue showcasing its newest designs in building a global narrative with this week’s fashion show.
The fashion show not only encapsulated the expertise and quality of different cashmere silhouettes, but also featured the latest trends such as thin scarves and loose trousers. Color palettes incorporated nudes as well as bold contrasting color patterns of marble pastels. With an emphasis on demonstrating its full range of cashmere yarn, select models walked the runway carrying plush scarves to compliment the looks. A highlight was an alternative take on menswear on the runway, men’s knitwear revealed deep cut necklines as well as bright patterns. Following the show, guests were treated to dinner and seated salon in the iconic Cipriani event venue.
