Rick Ross closed out his Port of Miami 2 Tour in New York with back to back sold out shows at Gramercy Theater and we got to attend the final night on tour.

Ross opened up the concert with some of his classic songs like, “Ima Boss”, “I’m Not a Star” and “Hustlin”. The crowd was into the show from the beginning and was rapping his notable verses from his songs. Ross was in great spirits and was energized from the crowd and also that his mother, daughter and other members of his family and close friends were sitting right next to the stage which had Ross in a great mood throughout the show. Ross performed a few songs from Port of Miami 2, and brought out his close friend and fellow Maybach Music artist Gunplay for “Nobody’s Favorite”. He also showed respect to the late great Nipsey Hussle by playing his song and commemorating his life and legacy.

Ross showed love to some New York artists by bringing out Jim Jones and he performed “State of the Union” which featured Ross and his iconic song “We Fly High” and had the crowd doing his signature basketball form move with it. A$AP Ferg came out to “Jet Lag” off his recent EP Floor Seats and also performed his popular song “Plain Jane”. Finally Ross brought out Busta Rhymes to perform “Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Could See”. Busta also performed his fast spitting verse from “Look At Me Know” that mesmerized the crowd and showed that even after multiple years Busta is still able to rap that verse perfectly. Ross got back to the show and continued to perform some of his throwback hits such as “B.M.F”, “Diced Pineapples” and “9 Piece”. During the hour and half set Rick Ross was able to take the crowd on a journey to revisit some of his classics but also perform songs off Port of Miami 2 and show why he’s been able to stay relevant and consistent for so long. Ross closed his show by showing love to his fans that purchased his book by signing their copies and appreciating them for all their support.
