During Miami Art Week, Lavazza delivered one of the most compelling cultural experiences of the season with the debut of its “2026 Pleasure Makes Us Human Calendar“, photographed by acclaimed Magnum photographer Alex Webb.
The reveal unfolded across a series of immersive experiences that activated Miami Beach, the Design District, and Wynwood—celebrating the brand’s deepening presence in the contemporary arts.
Ahead of the public launch, Lavazza hosted a VIP media preview soirée at Luxury Living on Dec. 4, offering curated bites, specialty cocktails, music, and intimate access to Lavazza leadership, including Francesca Lavazza and Daniele Foti. Guests were among the first to explore Webb’s cinematic visual journey into “Italianness,” a vibrant series capturing the gestures, rhythms, and small pleasures that define the Italian way of life.

Webb’s twelve images move between intimate and communal scenes—lakeside afternoons, bustling trattorias, artisan workshops, and religious processions—each punctuated by coffee as a subtle but unifying symbol of connection. “I aimed to capture the light, colors, and gestures that make the Italian way of life so unique,” Webb said of the project.
Lavazza’s broader presence during Art Basel Miami Beach reinforced its belief in coffee as a cultural catalyst. From its immersive lounge inside the Miami Beach Convention Center to interactive installations in the Design District, a Wynwood takeover at Walt Grace Vintage, and the energetic Dolcevita Discotheque pop-up, the brand translated the contemporary dolce vita into multisensory experiences.

“Art Basel is a moment when the global creative community comes together to exchange ideas, discover new perspectives, and celebrate the power of artistic expression,” shared Daniele Foti, Vice President of Marketing for Lavazza North America. “For Lavazza, being part of this cultural conversation is essential—we show up where creativity lives. Our presence throughout Miami this week reflects our belief that coffee is more than a beverage; it’s a bridge between people, disciplines, and communities. By engaging with the art world in such a dynamic context, we continue to affirm our role as a brand deeply connected to culture, creativity, and the shared experiences that bring people together.”
With over three decades of artistic partnerships, the Lavazza Calendar is recognized today as a cornerstone of photographic artistry. This year’s edition—its first-ever unveiled at Art Basel—solidifies the brand’s longstanding connection to the global arts community while offering a contemporary portrait of Italy through Webb’s lens.
In Miami, that sentiment resonated effortlessly as pleasure, creativity, and community speak to everyone, and coffee remains one of the most compelling ways to bring those experiences together.
