Universal Pictures is gearing up for the release of their hilariously funny, chick-flick comedy, “SISTERS” (starring Amy Poehler and Tina Fey), and they are celebrating some of your favorite celebrity sisters!
The holidays are here and what better way to spend them than with your family, especially your sisters! Christina Milian, Ester Dean, Bria and Shayne Murphy, and a new set of sisters hitting the scene Chloe and Maud Arnold gave us an insight into their sisterly lifestyles.
Christina Milian and her sisters took us back to childhood sleepovers and puppets shows, as she candidly admitted that the best advice her sisters have ever given her was to “leave him!”
Both Chloe and Maud Arnold have toured the world with a slew of celebrities and admit they knew it was big when they trended over Lebron James during the playoffs on Twitter.
Chloe: “You guys are trending on twitter worldwide and this is when … This is when LeBron James was playing in the playoffs and we were above LeBron James and I was like wow what a moment for tap dance, what a moment for women in tap.”
Ester Dean and her sister Deandria overcame boundaries and admit they spend a lot of time with each other in the kitchen and Ester is honey while Deandria is vinegar in the industry!
Ester: “And then when it comes down to the boundaries of being in the industry being anything, whether it’s being a brown baby or being a woman or doing urban or pop music or like right now I go out to auditions cause I say hey I’m acting and they say don’t you write songs and I say yea at the end of the day I can act and I can write songs at night but the thing is there has never really been an obstacle in my way but my own self you know what I’m saying?”
Bria and Shayne Murphy are the eldest girls of Eddie Murphy and touched on the importance of having each other since their childhood was far different than most of their friends and they are super weary of others.
Bria: “There’s certain aspects of people that I might pick up on before she does or vice versa so we’re so close we always with each other anyway so if we meet new people one of us, both of us is gonna probably be there and then we both read them and I don’t know we’re pretty good at it”.
SISTERS in theaters Friday, December 18th!
