Check Out The Trailer For ‘How to Be Single’

Coming out just in time for Valentine’s Day next year, How to Be Single will, well, hopefully tell us how to be single.

God only knows how underwhelmed I was by How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days only to find out that she did not, in fact, lose a guy in ten days, or that How to Eat Fried Worms were not actual worms but gummy worms. You’d think I’d get better help advice from Hollywood than ask.com, but I guess not.

Anyhow, How to Be Single will star our love Rebel Wilson, along with Dakota Johnson, Allison Brie, and Leslie Mann, as they, again, try to be single without feeling so bad. Directed by Christian Ditter (who previously worked on a medley of German television shows like Schulmadchen (bless you, because it sounded like you just sneezed), to corny romantic comedies like Love, Rosie) the film was written by four people, Dana Fox, Abby Kohn, Marc Silverstein, and Liz Tuccillo.

The film will revolve around the four and other friends of theirs as they live in New York City trying to find a perfect balance between a hook-up and a “love connection.” Side note: that’s a direct quote from the trailer. Isn’t a love connection the exact opposite of being single? Anyhow. . . as they revolve around the city and in each other’s lives, they discover that there are plenty of people out there just like them, and they need to look harder.

You can watch the trailer below, and the film will premiere February 12, 2016.

Catherina Gioino

Catherina "Cat" Gioino is a native New Yorker, a huge movie buff and an amateur pizzaiolo. She currently works in transportation policy in New York, and previously was a breaking news reporter for the New York Daily News, and had stints at MSNBC, NY1, PBS and the Queens Gazette-- and was at The Knock since the beginning. When she's not biking around her hometown of Astoria or testing out the train system of another country, you can find her slinging wine and drinks at a friend's local bar.
