The new Fox Comedy addition ‘The Cool Kids’ has a group of retirees living it up an old folks home.
The golden years are a time that most say are the most relaxing. It’s when you finish reading that great American novel you’ve always said you’d read. It’s the time when grandkids visit and families lean in closer as you tell that old war story. To many, it’s the time to sit back and enjoy the remaining years with comfort and ease. But some people don’t see it like that.
The Cool Kids is a multi-camera comedy about a group of old folks living in a retirement community who just want to have fun in every which way they can. They drink, they gamble, they break the law. They do just about anything but have a slow day. The new show stars Tony Award-nominee David Alan Grier (In Living Color), Emmy Award-nominee Martin Mull (Veep), Emmy Award-winner Leslie Jordan, (Will and Grace) and Emmy Award winner Vicki Lawrence (The Carol Burnett Show).
