This past Tuesday, Fossil hosted Camp Fossil at La Sirena Ristorante in Chelsea.
Camp Fossil is glamping at its finest and featured a ping pong table, embossing station to customize card holders, a bouquet crafting table, and of course displays full of the latest watch, bag, and accessory designs. Guests were treated to peach Bellinis, virgin watermelon spritzers, and a variety of appetizers as they perused the
activities and tested out the new collection.
The Camp Fossil Boutique consists off bags, watches, key chains, card sleeves, and more in earth tones and sturdy, but soft materials that just scream fall. The bags—everything from wristlets to camping ready satchels, come in rich tans and blacks as well as surprisingly vibrant reds and greens that prove it’s okay to be bright in fall. One standout is the Rachel Tote ($158), an ideal carry-all for those months when a surprise temperature drop requires an emergency sweater—or maybe a full wardrobe change.
As far as timekeepers go, the Original Boyfriend Chronograph ($135) in cedar leather is the perfect blend of rustic design and sleek functionality. The lightweight body and über-soft leather band make it the ideal date for any outdoor activity you may find yourself in (either premeditated or accidental). If you’re looking for something that takes the camp theme a bit more literally look no further than the completely adorable Campfire Keyfob ($38) and Raccoon Coin Pouch ($65).
After viewing the collection, guests were treated to lunch on La Sirena Ristorante’s open-air patio. Crudité preceded a choice of either a poached chicken and avocado salad or vegetarian panino followed by miniature milkshakes and warm cookies. After lunch, the hotspot was a photo booth decked out with a bow and arrows, binoculars, canteens, and tree stumps turned chic stools. Much fun was had by all bouncing between the photo booth and ping pong matches all the while coming back to the Camp Fossil collection again and again. The wish list is long this time around thanks to a solid fall selection from Fossil.
