What drew you all in to want to collaborate and perform at JetBlue terminal ?
Nathan Morris: We thought it was a good idea, we’ve performed in a lot of places around the world and this was just one we can say that we’ve never done before and it’s a pretty interesting concept being at an airport. I mean New York City is the perfect city to do it.
With your most recent album Collide, the sound is a lot different from your previous albums but still stays true to your essence, what encouraged this change in tone?
Nathan Morris: The main thing is to stay true to yourself. Vocally all we could do is grow.
Wanya Morris: When it comes to music, we have no boundaries. We’re not trying to continue to do the same things we want to express the open mindedness of our artistry .
Shawn Stockman: That’s something we tried to accomplish place our voices over new music.
What is the secret to a group such as yourselves have a long and prosperous career ?
Nathan Morris: It wasn’t easy, when you’re watching everything else change around you and you’re trying to not just change with it. Like you want to change but still stay true to who you are. It’s very difficult. I think it starts with what we came in it for and that’s to sing together, and that’s pretty much what kept us here, the desire to wanting to sing and create something new.
