Big K.R.I.T. announced that he will be joined by BJ the Chicago Kid on his “Krtically Acclaimed Tour.”
The rising R&B singer will join Big K.R.I.T. as his lead support in Pittsburg, PA on Oct. 29. Harlem rapper Smoke DZA will open for Big K.R.I.T. as a special guest until the show on Oct. 29.
Big K.R.I.T. gained the public’s attention when he released 2010 mixtape K.R.I.T. Wuz Here. After being featured on the cover of XXL’s annual Freshman issue the Mississippi native continued to release mixtapes and eventually a debut studio album aptly named From the Underground.
His latest album Cadilactica landed him on the #1 spot on Billboard’s Hip Hop/Rap Chart in 2014, a huge break for the up and coming artist. The songs off the album will be heavily featured in his tour including his hit “Cadilactica.” Billboard said the album,”is the triumph of a style that has all but been discarded“
