After slaying her SuperBowl 50 performance, Queen Bey had some big news.
It’s undeniable that Beyoncé was a star of Sunday’s SuperBowl 50 with the performance of her newest track, Formation. It seemed as if it can’t get better after the release of the song and accompanying video on Friday, February 5, but Queen Bey had more great news coming up. Right after the SuperBowl halftime show CBS streamed an ad of her upcoming The Formation World Tour.
It will kick off in Miami, FL, on April 27 and will include 21 other locations just in North America, some of which are New York City, Los Angeles, Toronto and Chicago. The tour will move to Europe at the end of June, first concert being held in Sunderland, UK. Locations in France, Germany, Italy and more will follow.
Fans will be able to participate in artist’s initiative #BeyGOOD which goal is to support local United Way program as well as ongoing help surrounding the water crisis in Flint, Michigan. United Way is working on distributing water to underserved populations to address immediate needs in Flint as well as addressing the long-term developmental and educational needs of children affected by the Flint Water Crisis.
The tickets will go on sale on Monday, February 15, in Europe and Tuesday, February 16, in North America.
