It’s not summertime until you’ve had your first mojito
It’s summertime and we still need a summer smash hit to dance to. Luckily everyone’s favorite rum brand, BACARDÍ’s, has recently unveiled their latest campaign titled “Conga Feat. You.” This new song takes the classic Latin dance song and reimagines it with a fresh take. The song features lead vocals from Leslie Grace, verses from Meek Mill, and is produced by Grammy Award-Winning producer, Boi-1da. You can check out the song below.
The launch of the “Conga Feat. You” campaign comes in parallel with World Cocktail Day which was on May 13th. And with that, BACARDÍ is helping you make the perfect drink to get your summer started right. BACARDÍ has created two new drink recipes that feature some of the classic BACARDÍ flavors and rums. There is a fresh take on the classic Mojito that uses the very best of BACARDÍ and then another fruitier drink that is a perfect accompaniment for any beach adventure.
The first drink called the BACARDÍ Coco Conga is a fun take on the classic mojito. This refreshing drink is perfect for any occasion, from hanging out with your friends indoors all the way to a fun outdoor kickback at a park or rooftop. With simple ingredients that brings a punch of flavor, this is definitely a drink that should be on everyone’s roster this summer. Check out the recipe to make the BACARDÍ Coco Conga down below:
BACARDÍ Coco Conga
Ingredients:
- 2 oz. BACARDĺ Superior Rum
- 1 oz. lime juice
- 12 mint leaves
- 2 tsp. extra fine sugar
- 1 oz. club Soda
- Splash of BACARDĺ Coconut Flavored Rum
Method: Add the BACARDĺ Superior Rum, lime juice sugar, and mint to a highball glass. Press mint with a bar spook to release oil. Add crushed ice, almost to top, and churn. Top with Club Soda and crown with a splash of BACARDĺ Coconut Flavored Rum.

The BACARDÍ Life’s a Beach brings a sweeter take on summer by adding some passion fruit puree-infused syrup to the mix. BACARDÍ Life’s a Beach
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ oz. BACARDÍ Añejo Cuatro Rum
- 3/4 oz Reàl® passion fruit puree-infused syrup
- ¾ oz. lime juice
- 1 ½ oz. coconut water
Method: Shake all ingredients with ice, and strain into a highball glass over cubed ice. Garnish with a pineapple leaf and/or pineapple wedge.
