This weekend, Asia Fashion Collection revealed their 6th annual runway show during NYFW FW19 at Spring Studios. Asia Fashion Collection (AFC) is an incubation project showcasing Asia’s rising up-and-coming designers; this season, the runway revealed seven brands from Japan, Thailand, South Korea, and Taiwan: FEY MINORIYANAGASE by Minori Yanagase, TITAT by Titat Kuantrakul, CAHIERS by Ayoung Kim, TSUNG YU CHAN by Joe Chan, HYUN JUNG by Hyun Kyeong Jung, kenichi. by Kenichi Ishida, and KANON by Kanon Hayata.

An exclusive preview of Moët Hennessy’s Icons Gift Collections was presented with a selection of the house’s iconic champagnes, wines, and spirits, along with canapes. The interactive experience spanned the main floor of the luxury Parisian furniture retailer.
This NYFW, Hot Now China presented its first runway show in New York. The show sponsored by the CFA (China Fashion Association), Tencent News, and the Global Fashion Industry Academy gives a platform for both emerging and established Chinese designers to break into the American market. The program also expands into other European markets such as Paris, Milan, and London, where designers not only have an opportunity to study local culture but also learn and receive training.
This Saturday, Asia Fashion Collection held their debut FW 18 show at Spring Studios during NYFW. In partnership with Vantan Inc. and PARCO Co., LTD., 7 designers were able to feature their collections outside of Asia as part of the incubation project.
Tuesday night, Perry Ellis presented its Fall Winter 2018 collection at The Hippodrome in New York City during NYFW. The late runway show prefaced with a bright disco ball glazing the lobby of the iconic Times Square venue, while granite and marble provided the backdrop for the runway.
