Trapstar Redline FW26 NYFW Show

by Nishat Baig February 18, 2026
written by Nishat Baig

The cultural phenomenon known as Trapstar, founded by Lee, Mike& Will have time and time again redefined how fashion is represented and marketed to the public by keeping their hands firmly on the pulse of their community. This season’s Redline collection foregrounds texture and technique. The creative team looked to the world that formed their perspective, drawing direct inspiration from UK Garage music — a genre that emerged in the 1990s from R&B and reggae and grew in popularity in 2016 — and its role in shaping London’s cultural identity. Working with instinct and immediacy, they developed a line that captures the raw, untapped energy of streetwear and the environment that fuels it. Trapstar has long mastered the art of intrigue, operating by the principle that unpredictability is power. With a disruptive, non-linear approach to fashion, the brand delivers pieces that move in step with the evolution of style while consistently feeling fresh and driven by techniques that are distinctly its own.

Across the collection, premium materials — from full-grain leather anchoring standout silhouettes to intricately embroidered appliqué — define the visual and tactile story. Signature treatments such as coated and flocked denim and refined wool constructions spotlight the natural character of each fabric, transformed and elevated through meticulous craftsmanship and technical finish. Previously unseen designs have been unearthed from the archive, spotlighting the team’s enduring creative range and long-standing design language. The collection also features select works from their late designer Nico — first honored in the prior release, Redline Nico Style — extending his legacy while pushing the broader Redline narrative into its next chapter.

The highly-anticipated Trapstar sneaker also debuted this season with three distinct designs that each deliver a new perspective for the sneaker community. Leading the drop is the Colosseum sneaker — driven by Nico’s vision and drawing from 2005 trends and 2012 culture — merging nostalgia with innovative edge. In keeping with the brand’s ethos, these silhouettes are made for the steppers, not the runners — built to command presence rather than pace. The Trapstar Redline collection reinforces the label’s legacy, cementing its status as a household name synonymous with effortless style and confidence.

Special guests included Cash Cobain, Stunna Sandy, Thickney, Albee Al, athletes Miles Sanders and Khadarel Hodge, KidSuper and many more. Right before the final walk, Cash Cobain surprised guests with a performance, perfectly capturing the spontaneity of NYC life and streetwear.

Romeo Hunte FW26 NYFW Show

by Nishat Baig February 18, 2026
written by Nishat Baig

Last week Romeo Hunte unveiled his Fall/Winter 2026 Collection at the illustrious Gotham Hall. This season’s collection titled, NOIR VIGILANTE, refined the house’s codes through precision tailoring and controlled disruption. The show started off with a jazz performance, followed by the first look. The music was ominous, the setting was dark, but the looks shined in this Dark Knight inspired presentation, with Gotham being an appropriate setting. This collection sharpened familiar forms; trench coats, denim, button-down shirts and evening wear into sculptural silhouettes defined by proportion and structure. Tuxedo elements were integrated into daywear. Stone-washed denim was engineered with cinched waists and architectural shaping. Classic tailoring was recalibrated for a sharper, more deliberate expression.

Outerwear remains the foundation of the brand. Crocodile-textured technical coats, structured denim trenches and saturated trench silhouettes in green, yellow and deep burgundy underscored Hunte’s command of statement construction while maintaining functional integrity. Lace detailing introduced subtle contrast against monochromatic foundations, reinforcing a balance of strength and refinement. The house’s six-block square dot motif appeared selectively across silk prints and tailored silhouettes, asserting brand identity with restraint rather than excess. With NOIR VIGILANTE, Hunte advances his position within American luxury by focusing on disciplined construction, material elevation and silhouette control. The collection reflects a maturation of the brand: heritage informed, technically assured and architecturally precise.

Standout looks included an all black leather blazer and cape which flowed like Noir Vigilante personified on the runway. This collection was one of our favorites this season, featuring classic silhouettes reimagined, the juxtaposition between motion and structure and innovative designs like the textured black swan cocktail dress, and distressed drawstring pants in both black and gray! The denim was sexy, chic, and elegant, and we are obsessed with the denim trench coat and denim puffer vest, two classic designs taking life through new material and medium is always exciting.

by Nishat Baig February 2, 2026
written by Nishat Baig

On Thursday we had the pleasure of attending Spotify’s annual Best New Artist Party at The Lot at Formosa in Los Angeles. This annual celebration spotlights the 8 artists nominated for The Grammy Awards’ Best New Artist category. The night was filled with amazing musical performances by this year’s nominees, complimentary cocktails, multiple photo booths and delicious food, but the highlight was by far the innovative Spray Bar courtesy of Magnum Ice Cream.

We caught up with the Magnum Ice Cream team to shed some light on this engaging activation, “Magnum Ice Cream is bringing indulgence to the spotlight with an exclusive spray bar experience at Spotify’s iconic Best New Artist 2026 Party. At one of the music industry’s most high-profile events, guests have the opportunity to personalize their own Magnum Ice Cream Bars with the name of their BNA nominee pick. The interactive activation allows attendees to treat themselves to a moment of luxury and creativity, perfectly complementing the celebration of emerging musical talent. Magnum continues to celebrate self-expression and enjoyment, making every experience a little more memorable.”

Not only did guests enjoy customizing these sweet treats, it provided a nice cool down in between the high-energy performances. Additionally there were a plethora of food stations including mini pizzas, tacos, burgers and limitless drinks. Hilton had an entire suite dedicated to their partnership with Spotify including complimentary key cards, a photo booth, custom cocktails and lite bites.

The performances kicked off with Grammy-Award winning Leon Thomas, up for 6 nominations this year. The audience went crazy for his live version of “Mutt,” followed by a stunning performance by Lola Young and an amazing set by The Marias. Lola Young’s emotional live performance of “Sad Sob Story” was everything and more. Alex Warren, Katseye and Sombr did not disappoint. Katseye slayed with their impeccable choreography and high-energy dance moves for hits like “Gnarly”. Addison Rae turned up the heat with her back-up dancers and performed breakout hit “Diet Pepsi.” Olivia Dean closed out the night and sang her viral record “So Easy (To Fall In Love)” leaving guests wanting more.

In addition to the stellar performances there were many special guests in attendance including PinkPantheress, Shaboozey, Kaytranada, Diplo, Zara Larsson, Larray, Murda Beatz and many more.

Instagram Partners With Slawn to Bring Canvas House To Life

by Nishat Baig December 12, 2025
written by Nishat Baig

Last week Instagram partnered with talented creative Slawn to bring the immersive Canvas House installation to life during Miami Art Week. Slawn and Instagram invited guests to become a collaborative part of this amazing activation allowing guests to pick up a mask, some gloves, a can of spray paint and let loose on the white plastered walls in Canvas House. While Slawn tagged the outside of the house, guests expressed themselves inside in an installation that embodied Instagram’s platform through Slawn’s medium. This event also marked a first for the talented artist who had never done an entire house before. Unlike most of the other festivities during Art Basel, Canvas House gave each guest the ability to become part of the artwork leading to an unforgettable night. Special guests included Mia Khalifa, Pepe Garcia, Maurice Kamara and more! The evening also featured an open bar and live DJ set providing vibes throughout the night. Canvas House was also a gathering of tastemakers and art lovers from music, fashion and culture coming together under on roof to create something together. In recent years Art Basel has become more famous for its parties than anything else, but this experience was unlike any other during Miami Art Week in that it brought the focus back to art.
