Tuesday, April 10, 2018 – A night of elegance and grace at the Reel Works Benefit Gala, honoring Danai Gurira, Phoebe Robinson, and Manish Dayal. The benefit was held at Capitale and the event raised $300,000 for the non-profit organization, which provides free filmmaking education and industry internships to underserved youth communities in New York.

Traffik is new thrilling and suspense film that is coming this spring. Traffik, is based on a couple , played by Paula Patton and Omar Epps, who embark on a romantic getaway in the mountains. On the drive to the mountains they meet some mysterious people. Although the people they in-countered seemed weird they continued their travels to what should be a great weekend. Surprisingly, they found out that they would not be alone when they noticed two friends, played by Roselyn Sanchez and Laz Alonso, showed up uninvited. Things suddenly change when they find themselves fighting for their lives from enemies who would do anything to protect their secrets.
Producer and star of the movie Traffik, Paula Patton, held an small intimate screening in New York City. The Knockturnal team was able to be apart of this exclusive event.
The movie overall was a great concept and story line. The visuals were beautiful and complemented the settings. The acting was exceptional and it was great seeing Omar Epps back in films. This movie is filled with suspense and will make you grab on to your seat. The actual facts about sex trafficking in the film gives it a realistic vibe. Traffik will release April 2018. If you are into suspense, thrilled movies that will make you feel loved, scared and even make you cry, this is a movie for you.
