Mauricio Sotelo is a filmmaker and writer based in the New York area. Originally from Lima, Peru, he holds a degree in Communication from the University of Lima and has worked across film, visual storytelling and language education. His film credits include script supervision on Peruvian feature films and co-directing the documentary Trastiendas, while his short film La hija buena was selected for the Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival.
