I was sitting outside Little Mercado after an event when I looked up and there walking toward me was Austen Cox, a creative director with an eye for visual storytelling and culinary culture. He said hello, and that simple moment sparked the beginning of our creative friendship and journey.

Last night, I had the pleasure of attending an unforgettable evening curated by the legendary Crystal Waters. The celebration was pure artistry, music, fashion, and community all coming together in one space.
It was at last year’s Hard Rock Café in New York, during Najah Moeser’s soulful performance, when I met Jessica “Kameko” Rooks (or “Meko” to many). What started with a friendly greeting transformed into an instant bond. Here was a single mother of two, an entrepreneur, an artist, and an athlete in spirit, whose warmth instantly stood out, transcending her Instagram-perfect appearances.
