Day two of the 4th Annual Mammoth Film Festival showcased international world premieres, action sports shorts, episodics, and features as well as documentary features.

The 2022 Mammoth Film Festival featured over 90 films carefully selected from submissions via FilmFreeway. The four-day festival was not only comprised of world premieres and screenings, but also a slate of educational and interactive panel discussions with top film industry leaders, Q&A’s, press conferences and a closing award ceremony.

On Friday, February 4 panelists Jackson Spidell and Katie Cassidy hit the red carpet at Minaret Cinemas to enjoy the premieres along with notable guests, Stefania Spampinato, Luke Hemsworth, Ashley Greene Khoury, Skeet Ulrich, Shane West, Chike Okonkwo, Milo Gibson, DJ Ruckus, and several others. Day two of the film festival premiered the international feature, Bloom, action sports feature Broken Molds, documentary feature Manzanar, Diverted: When Water Becomes Dust, premiere feature Bosch & Rockit starring Luke Hemsworth as well as many incredible shorts. “It’s always amazing to have the opportunity to support filmmakers. In this specific occasion I’m supporting these two amazing Brazilian filmmakers like Rodrigo Zan and Leco Moura and I just stepped out the theater from seeing their film and I’m super amped,” Grey’s Anatomy star Stefania Spampinato shares. The Brazilian pair debuted their film, Up North.

Throughout the jam-packed day attendees of the film festival were also able to enjoy an interactive panel with mega talent Jackson Spidell who is not only a stuntman but also the leading stunt coordinator in the movie industry. Spidell was joined by award winning actress Katherine McNamara known for her action roles in Shadow Hunter, Arrow, Maze Runner, and others. The pair spoke with guests about the ‘heroes behind the heroes’ and amazing stunts performed. “It was really nice to be able to shine a light on what we do for people,” Spidell shared.

Of course, all things film were at the center of attention during the 4th annual Mammoth Film Festival, however there was also another highly discussed topic and that was the increasingly popular NFT. Film festival sponsor Think: NFT headed by CEO Scott Page of Pink Floyd was in attendance and if you still are unsure of what an NFT is, Page explains “they represent freedom, seriously, because it allows to create a transaction between wallet to wallet, person to person, no middleman. Everything will be NFT.”  After a full day of panels, screenings, and premieres guests exited the Minaret Cinemas and regathered at Lakanuki located in The Village to celebrate a successful day two.
