A reception was held for the Modern Art Museum Shanghai 2021, hosted by the Artistic Director Shai Baitel at his friend, Nouriel Roubini’s beautiful residence in New York City.
Baitel has worked with many other large artistic institutions in the creative director capacity as well. He has partnered with the Whitney Museum of American Art, Herzliya Museum of Contemporary Art, and many others. He plans to lead MAM with an artistic vision that will appeal to the younger generations of Gen Z and Alpha.
“After originating Bob Dylan: Retrospectrum in 2019, which was MAM first experience-based exhibition, the museum leadership’s understood the changing nature of the audience that required a fresh, unique, and different approach so that MAM is led by an artistic vision that matches the growing younger generation of museum visitors, Gen Z
and Generation Alpha”.
