Ian Schrager channeled a time of celebrated classical artists and old-timey New York in the establishment of the Times Square EDITION Hotel for not just tourists and visitors, but for New Yorkers as well.
The internationally famous, bold and stimulating hub of Times Square, painted with digital billboards and commercial, media giants, Times Square EDITION is the decompression-zone New Yorkers have been waiting for.
In a conversation in the EDITION’s Paradise Club moderated by Matt Tyrnauer, Schrager and Arne Sorenson gave an insight into the inspiration for the redefined hotel experience

The bright, flashing lights of the outside streets remain prominent, but remains out of sight once you’ve enter the sleek, ivory painted hall of the building’s lobby.

From The Terrace at EDITION to its serene Outdoor Gardens and The Paradise Club incorporating House of Yes spectacle elements to its Michelin-starred dining by Chef Jason Atherton at the Clocktower, Times Square EDITION carries its effervescent essence throughout each aspect of its building’s interior.
“[The] Paradise Club is a place of aspiration, invention and reinvention… A refuge to enjoy life and forget life and the perfect place to escape into a fantasy,” added Schrager.
Times Square EDITION officially launched on March 12th and is now available to the public.
