On March 28, FIJI Water presented the New York Premiere of NEON’s COLOSSAL.
It was held at AMC Lincoln Square. From the film: Anne Hathaway, Jason Sudeikis, Tim Blake Nelson; writer/director Nacho Vigalondo, producers Nahikari Ipinaand and Dominic Rustam all walked the red carpet. In the film Gloria (Hathaway) is an out-of- work party girl who, after getting kicked out of her apartment by her boyfriend, is forced to leave her life in New York and move back to her hometown. When news reports surface that a giant creature is destroying Seoul, South Korea, Gloria gradually comes to the realization that she is somehow connected to this far-off phenomenon. As events begin to spin out of control, Gloria must determine why her seemingly insignificant existence has such a colossal effect on the fate of the world.
“I liked that she was selfish and caring at the same time, self-absorbed but also totally accessible. She just really spoke to me; she felt like a version of me. I think she’s like a lot of us. Nobody has it together all the time and she’s a really smart, fun, funny girl whose having a moment when she’s struggling and I like that you get to watch her find herself … She just spoke to me. She felt like a version of me,” Hathaway told reporters on the red carpet.
