On a beautiful summer night in the meatpacking district, sixty people crowded into Soho House for an exclusive performance by Tidal Rising’s singer, MIESA.
Miesa is a R&B/Pop artist from New Jersey who grew up in a musical family and singing in church. She was discovered by the head of Siri’s music group label Chauncey Jackson. And on Friday July 22nd, Miesa laid her heart on the line in The Vinyl room.
Ironically enough The Vinyl room was filled with large velvet arm chairs as well as velvet stools to lounge and feel sexy in. The lights were dim and no one wanted to leave, especially when Miesa blessed her fans with a meet and greet afterward. The room was perfect for her smooth torch songs like “Antidote” “Sway” “Blame My Ex” and “Too bad for you.” There was also a great tribute to the legends Whitney Houston, and Prince.
The performance was very intimate, laid back, yet full of life, all at the same time! Miesa was dressed in all black (but still heavenly) with leather pants, a mesh top with a strip of leather down the back and white strappy snake skin heels. She was accompanied by a live band and back up singers to help fill every crevice and velvety fiber with her hypnotic vibrations.
