On October 24th, St. Bartholomew’s Church in New York City became the ultimate fashion footwear haven for the Noel Shoe Museum’s Gala Shoe Ball. Renowned guests, including style icons Carolina Herrera, Brooke Shields, and Nicole Miller, joined Vanessa Noel, the museum’s founder and renowned shoe designer, to celebrate the cultural legacy and artistry of footwear.
The evening kicked off with cocktails crafted to match the event’s stylish theme. A highlight of the night? Bingo, but with a twist. This wasn’t your average game night; the stakes were high, with prizes that added a touch of extravagance. Guests vied for top prizes, including a $2,500 Wegmans gift card, a 12-day luxury cruise from Istanbul to Cyprus, a two-night stay in picturesque Nantucket, a five-night villa escape in Jamaica, and even a non-surgical facelift session.
Dinner was served followed by an invitation for guests to slip into their dancing shoes and take to the floor, where a live band played among the beautiful, candlelit atmosphere of the ball.
The event celebrated the future of the Noel Shoe Museum, a unique cultural institution devoted to exploring the artistry, history, and craft behind footwear. Founded by Vanessa Noel, the museum is dedicated to honoring shoes as both functional items and art pieces, with exhibits planned to highlight collaborations across fashion, art, and culture.
A vital cultural institution, the Noel Shoe Museum will host exhibitions and educational programming that capture the evolution of design and innovation within the world of footwear.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the Noel Shoe Museum is committed to inspiring and educating the public, and donations from the Gala will support its mission to open a museum that reaches both national and international audiences. Guests’ contributions are set to play a significant role in creating a vibrant cultural institution that champions shoe design as a symbol of innovation, history, and art. Hear more about it here!
