Jack Harlow and American Express team up together during Member Card Week to bring an exclusive one-night experience for cardmembers!
For all of last week, American Express said thank you to its cardholders with Amex’s Member Week. From October 10th – October 14th, card members had access to memorable experiences and limited special offers in dining, traveling, wellness and entertainment. One of these special events were in collaboration with Louisville native rapper, Jack Harlow. The rapper teamed up with American Express to bring his hometown, Louisville to his fans in NYC special concert. The event titled, “Louisville by Jack Harlow” was brought to Brooklyn’s very own, Brooklyn Steel. For those who couldn’t attend the event, a live stream of the artist’s performance was available through Twitch and hosted by Amazon Music.
Despite only cardmembers having access to the event, this did not stop fans of Jack Harlow to show up and show out at Brooklyn Steel. Fans of all ages were lined up, waiting in anticipation to see the Louisville native. Upon entering Brooklyn Steel, there was a 5-piece fashion collection available to concertgoers. This was merchandise designed by Louisville-based artist Bri Browers that captured illustrations of the artist’s and rapper’s hometown landmarks. T-shirts, posters, a rugby shirt, hoodie and crossbody bag were available for purchase.
Once concertgoers made it pass merch, waiting staff greeted them with trays full of food from Jack Harlow’s favorite Italian restaurant in Louisville, Vincenzo’s. Trays included turkey and tomato sandwiches, fettuccini, and delicious macaroons. There was also a bar with a menu curated in dedication of Kentucky cocktails including Louie Lemonade and First Class Slugger.
The live concert kicked off at 8:30 pm with an introduction video from Harlow, teasing fans. The artist then hit the stage and opened up with his Billboard charted single, “Nail Tech”. The artist then performed singles from his albums, “Come Home The Kids Miss You” “Thats What They All Say” and “Sweet Action”. Midway into the performance, Harlow performed ‘Luv is Dro’ featuring Static Major and another Louisville native, Bryson Tiller. To concert goers surprise, Tiller took the stage alongside Harlow for the song. The two gave the crowd a taste of Louisville’s magic. Tiller followed up with a performance of his song “Sorry Not Sorry” from his debut studio album, “Trapsoul”. The two Louisville natives then embraced, and Harlow took the stage alone again.
For the rest of the exclusive concert, Harlow performed hit songs including “Dua Lipa”, “Already Best Friends” featuring Chris Brown and Lil Nas X’s Billboard charted song, “Industry Baby”. To end the night, Harlow closed off with 2022 MTV Best Song of the Year, “First Class”.
