It is no secret that people have been desperate for the world to open back up and this past weekend Élia Beach Club did not disappoint, as it officially opened its doors at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas to eager party-goers celebrating an “unstoppable weekend.”
The grand opening featured an even grander lineup of performances headed by nightlife leaders Mio Danilovic, Jason ‘JROC’ Craig, and Michael Fuller. The weekend festivities from June 10 – June 13 kicked off with an unveiling by entrepreneur and creator of Virgin Hotels, Sir Richard Branson, and a pop of champagne to get attendees excited for the events ahead. Guests were treated to an electrifying performance by Christina Aguilera and show opener, Flo Rida, prior to the opening of the club. VIP guests showed up in numbers including AnnaLynne McCord, Rachel McCord, Audrina Patridge, Marta Pozzan, Beau ‘Casper’ Smart, Emily Sears, Laura Sellar, and many more to support the grand opening. They kicked back in the poolside cabanas as they enjoyed the DJ sets and musical performances of Day 1 by Sam Blacky and Sofi Tukker.
Élia Beach Club is the very first venue of the joint partnership from nightlife leaders and managing partners Mio Danilovic, Jason “JROC” Craig and Michael Fuller, and JC Hospitality at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas. In a team effort with the partners and designed by Francois Frossard, the Mediterranean-inspired venue creates an alluring oasis transporting guests to a Mykonos, Greece experience. Frossard who also designed the notable Joia Beach, as well as some of the most widely admired venues to have graced Miami paid close attention to detail carefully constructing the venue’s décor, color palette, and furnishings bringing an international beach destination vision to life. Élia Beach Club focuses on all genres of house music including tropical house, deep house, and world house with its grand stage set directly in front of a massive Mediterranean-colored pool allowing guests to cool down as they turn up. It is a beach club like never seen before in Vegas, offering an incomparable experience.
On June 12 supermodel, Alessandra Ambrosio was a showstopper as she heated up Day 2 in a metallic neon mini skirt and black one-piece bathing suit paired with clear sandals as her and friends took over a VIP cabana hut to enjoy the Lane 8 DJ set. Ambrosio enjoyed poolside cocktails and refreshing custom Élia Beach coconuts as her and her friends danced the day away, taking in the good vibes. Marta Pozzan, Emily Sears, Flo Rida, and Tito Ortiz, among others, were also in attendance to enjoy Day 2. “Yeah, I’m just out here having a great time, it’s Vegas! I’m happy it’s open again and Élia is just dope,” said rapper Flo Rida.
The stacked grand opening for Élia Beach Club wrapped with performances by Loco Dice and Deadmau5 on Sunday, Jun 13. Temperatures were sizzling as Deadmau5 joked with partygoers, “it’s so hot out here…but it’s a dry heat, yea right.” Attendees at Élia Beach Club stayed hydrated in the heat with Caliwater cactus water, Everbowl superfood bowls, poolside massages, and cryotherapy facials by Artha Wellness Sanctuary. The final day of the “unstoppable weekend” at the Virgin Hotels in Las Vegas included guests such as Mario Rodriguez Jr., Cassie Scerbo, Veronika Dash.
After experiencing over a year of pandemic hysteria, Élia Beach Club provides travelers with the chance to relax, escape and enjoy an atmosphere rooted in positivity and good vibes only.
