Nothing says NYC summer like sitting poolside on a rooftop! The only thing that could make it better? A tequila cocktail in hand!
On Thursday, May 29th, Pantalones Organic Tequila hosted a party celebrating the season opening of Virgin Hotels NYC’s The Pool Club. Matthew and Camila McConaughey’s tequila brand hosted this event in Midtown, Manhattan, during the early evening. The atmosphere in The Pool Club was nothing short of stunning. With a tropical-chic vacation theme, the venue transported guests out of the city and into a mini paradise getaway. Additionally, a live band played upbeat, easy-listening music throughout the evening, amplifying the summer escape vibes.
Upon entry, guests were given drink tickets to try Pantalones Organic Tequila based beverages at the bar. All three drinks were themed to the event. The light and sweet tasting, Tight White Pants being this reporter’s favorite. In addition, a selection of finger foods including a veggie platter, mini chicken sandwiches, and even mini lobster rolls were provided for guests to enjoy with their drinks.
Moving past the bar, guests sat poolside to enjoy their refreshments. A lifeguard was on duty in case anyone wanted to take a dip, although most guests opted to relax on the many daybeds. Activities included a plinko game where guests could win branded hats, pins, shakers, and other prizes. Next to the game was also a tequila station offering tastings of all three Pantalones Organic Tequila varieties to help guests discover which one best suited their palate. Additionally, a digital photo booth was also available for guests to take pictures with.
Most exciting of all was the Painted Pantalones station, where guests could choose to have their jeans or a Pantalones Organic Tequila tote bag custom-painted. Guests could customize their experience by choosing their design and color. Then artists Julia Marcus and Michele Sobel painted it on the chosen material.
In summary, the event was full of chill vibes, fun activities, and great tequila!
