The Parke & Ronen fashion label was created by two innovative designers: Parke Lutter, and Ronen Jehezkel.
Their creative aim was to produce simple, yet chic designs – clothes that are comfortable to wear, but not ‘gimmicky’. This duo specializes in swimwear, however they also offer a variety of other clothes, raging from sportswear to footwear.
On Thursday, July 14th, 2016, Park & Ronen held their Men’s New York Fashion Week show at the Skylight Clarkson Square. Their runway show was packed, with lines of attendees circling throughout the building to get into the event.
The fashion line predominantly consisted of swimwear, loungewear, and sportswear. Parke & Ronen had a specific color palette to their designs: reds, blues, and whites – contributing the overall continuity of the set.
While the gorgeous male models walked down the runway, a mixture of rock, and feel-good music accompanied them. This created a fun and edgy vibe, which enhanced the overall effortless feel of the collection.
Showcasing the “Gentleman Jock” style inspired by Ivy League collegiate preppy styles, Parke and Ronen managed to incorporate varsity jackets emblazoned with “PR” block letters and cropped striped tees amongst their signature near au natural styling. Along with their personal body of work, two exclusive collaborations were unveiled- handbags by Parke and Ronen x Lodinatt, and printed striped blazers by Parke and Ronen x David Hart.
This season, hair and makeup was courtesy of Aveda featuring Superga [shoes], byThieland [necklaces], and Leisure Society [sunglasses].
As always, there was a star studded front row with appearances from model and public figure Eric Rutherford, Ted Stafford of GQ, and actor Alec Varcas were among the attendees.
