In all the beautiful chaos that is backstage at a fashion show, T. Cooper (co-founder of Metro Look) talked to us about the designer’s inspiration for the men’s grooming. The designer wanted the models to look like they just got off a plane from vacation with slicked back, really easy hair (think Leonardo DiCaprio). On the makeup side, Picasso (key make-up) was giving the guys an awesome healthy glow tan that only comes from a great vacation.
While some of the looks to hit the runway were very minimum (in khaki’s, white’s and black’s) the long furry wrap khaki skirts and the accessories were in overdrive! I loved every oversized fur bag that was toted down the runway they that had me daydreaming as I walked over to the next show. So here’s my shameless plug – Can’t wait to feature this band in my next editorial.
