While New York is known for its fine dining, there is one thing missing. For that, folks are willing to trek to New Jersey, Abu Dhabi and beyond to quench their thirst for never ending flavors, excellent service and family style dining at reasonable prices. Welcoming hunger, hangovers and TikTokers from near and far, The Cheesecake Factory outdoes itself this Fall with a new Bites and Bowls section on their already jam packed menu.
The launch comes just after the National Cheesecake Day release of the newest flavor —Peach Perfect with Raspberry Drizzle Cheesecake. The beloved Southern California staple is ringing in the season with trendy eats, like avocado toasts and egg rolls, and filling bowls, including Southern Fried Chicken and Orange Cauliflower bowls. These join their menu of over 250 items, all made from scratch daily by genius chefs who have mastered prep and execution.
On September 25, at the chain’s Jersey City location, The Knockturnal was one of the first to try the new offerings paired with some of the restaurants cocktails: a Zero Proof Mojito, Coconut and Zero Proof Margarita and a Tropical Mimosa — refreshments that matched and highlighted the foods flavor profiles.
With a wide variety of sweet and savory treats such as the orange-honey-drizzled Ricotta Cheese Toast and the Baked Brie with truffle, honey butter and house made orange marmalade, it’s difficult to pick a favorite. However, there were three standouts:
Spice lovers should indulge in the New Orleans Creole Shrimp. As savory as it gets, this flavorful dish is drenched in sauce begging to be sopped up with the buttery, toasted bread bed in true NOLA fashion.
Another 10 goes to the Crispy Rice Cakes with Crab. A staple for many modern sushi eateries, The Cheesecake Factory nailed this Japanese inspired plate. It’s the perfect appetizer! While it’s not as hearty as the other new items, this was one of the more refreshing and flavorful options. The crab perched on the satisfyingly crispy rice is rich with the same kick as a sour cream or spinach dip and is as easy to get hooked on.
Last but not least, the meatball sliders; simple and more than effective. Almost a meatball bomb, this decadent bite was worth the mess of tangy but sweet marinara sauce. The toasted garlic bread bun and TikTok-worthy cheese pull made this dish an absolute favorite. The meat was so tender. Rather than crumbling, it melted with the bread in every bite.
Honorable mentions include the addicting Parmesan Truffle fries— hotter and crispier than their regular fries— and the Chicken and Biscuits with gravy and hot honey, the perfect shareable and as hefty as an entree.
The best part of The Cheesecake Factory experience is that there’s something for everyone. As if more than 30 cheesecake flavors wasn’t tempting enough, the new Bites and Bowls make a trip to The Cheesecake Factory absolutely necessary this Fall.
