This Saturday, September 27th, 2025, Non-profit organization 1 World Fest Global will be hosting its 4th annual 1 World Festival. For those not familiar with the organization, 1 World is a non-profit organization that seeks to highlight the importance of cultural inclusion and diversity.
You’ll often hear Kamell Ellis, the founder of the organization, saying, “There’s one world, and we’ve all got to live in it.” This statement emphasizes everything the organization represents. The goal is to highlight the importance of diversity and inclusion. And this Festival does exactly that. In a city like NY that houses so many different cultures and ethnicities, organizations like 1 World are so essential.
Rochdale Village Community Center will be hosting the 4th Annual 1 World Festival. This year’s Festival will feature multiple pavilions. There will be a Children’s Pavilion, Technology Pavilion, Cultural Delegation Pavilion, Art is Life Pavilion, and an International Chef’s Pavilion. Each Pavilion will be offering its own unique experience. And throughout the day, Festival goers will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in each pavilion. In addition to these pavilions, there will be musical artists performing on the Unity Concert Stage.
This part of the festival is being hosted by Jonesy of 94.7 the block. And Greg Nice of the legendary Nice & Smooth will be headlining. Moroccan artist Naji Soul and Latino Artist Jibarito will also be gracing the stage. It doesn’t stop there; for those interested in joint sessions, this year’s sessions will be Mental Wellness, Housing Crisis, Financial Literacy, Food Insecurity, and Cultural Delegation. Each joint session will feature a moderator and delegates. Festival goers will have an opportunity to ask the delegates questions pertaining to the topics being discussed. This event has a little bit of everything for everyone. No matter your age, ethnicity, race, social status, or political views. This Festival is for everyone. 1 World Fest Global sets out to create a space where all are accepted, all conversations are welcomed, as long as there is respect and open-mindedness present.
There aren’t many organizations offering this much to the community free of charge. If you’re able to make it out this Saturday from 12 pm to 9 pm, you won’t want to miss this experience. Come ready to learn, fellowship, eat, network, build, and most importantly, enjoy yourself. In a world where there are so many outlets promoting separation and division, it is imperative for us to come together and remember the importance of community. We’re all we’ve got, and the only way to stop the divide is by having the conversation and highlighting the importance of coming together, and that’s what 1 World Fest Global is setting out to do.
