On Wednesday, July 16th, All-Clad transformed a NoHo rooftop into a culinary playground for All-Clad Al Fresco: Flavors of Summer. The real magic came courtesy of Chef Charlie Mitchell, the first Black chef to ever receive a Michelin star in New York City.
As the sun set over Astor Place and the city skyline glowed, guests gathered to celebrate the launch of All-Clad’s brand-new Pizza Oven, along with an exclusive first look at their upcoming Outdoor Griddles. Bringing the menu to life was Chef Charlie Mitchell, whose thoughtfully crafted bites perfectly showcased the power of All-Clad’s new outdoor lineup. From artisanal pizza to grilled seasonal small plates, each item was the perfect balance between elevated flavor and relaxed summer dining. Every dish was made fresh and served on-site, giving guests an up-close look at All-Clad’s latest tools that turn outdoor cooking into something effortless, fun, and craveable.
The evening was filled with interactive moments: a custom engraving station where guests personalized their own All-Clad pans (mine now proudly reads “Chef J”), a pickled garnish bar that added extra kick to each plate, and a salt tasting experience that turned seasoning into a sensory adventure.
All-Clad Al Fresco reminded us that great cooking doesn’t need to be complicated, just intentional, flavorful, and made to bring people together. Chef Charlie Mitchell didn’t just show us how to cook; he showed us the ease in elevating the cooking experience.
