In a fusion of beauty and fashion, Beauty Creations gave us access to an exclusive backstage experience at the Bronx and Banco AW/2024 presentation.
The Knockturnal was there to capture the bustling scene behind the curtain, as models hurried between hair, makeup, and nail stations. Amidst the glamorous chaos, we had the opportunity to sit down with Beauty Creations’ founder, Esmeralda Hernandez, and Master Makeup Artist Hosway Martinez.
They generously shared the secrets behind the breathtaking looks curated for the show, providing us with a rare glimpse into their creative process.
Hernandez expressed her excitement about the partnership with the show, exclaiming, “We’re going to be using some products (in the show) that we’ll be launching this fall, so I’m really excited for everyone to see.” Esmeralda further elaborated on the specific products used for the models, including the shimmers, which added a touch of glamour and allure to the runway.
We also spoke with Beauty Creations’ Master Makeup Artist, Hosway Martinez, who curated all the looks for the show. Martinez shared, “This is definitely one of my favorite designers I’ve personally worked with. They’ve collaborated with so many legendary people in the industry,” highlighting Bronx and Banco’s iconic partnerships.
Martinez continued to discuss the looks he created, explaining, “The collection is beautiful. We have different looks from a 90’s smokey vibe on some models to others with freckles made from Swarovski stones. We also incorporated purple and plum tones on certain models, perfectly complementing the gorgeous collection.” His artistic vision added depth and dimension to the runway, enhancing the overall aesthetic of the show.
That evening, The Knockturnal attended the Bronx and Banco Presentation Show at the ZZ’s club in Hudson Yards. We were immersed in a display of fashion and creativity, with plenty of influencers contributing to the lively atmosphere. Each new look showcased the impeccable craftsmanship of Bronx and Banco, perfectly complemented by the beautiful makeup of Beauty Creations and nails by Chillhouse Chill Tips. From soft to bold, the makeup enhanced the designer’s vision, culminating in a celebration of style where the magic of beauty and fashion seamlessly merged.

Notables such as Academy Award winner Marisa Tomei, Chanel Iman, Romee Strijd, Olivia Palermo, Whitney Port, Iskra Lawrence, Nicky Hilton, and RHONJ star Melissa Gorga, among many more, attended the event to get an exclusive first look at the upcoming collection where they dancedΒ enjoying beverages from Gorgie and champagne from Nomine Renard.
