The vibrant fusion of African and Miami cultures came alive at Afro Nation in Miami on May 27 and 28 at the Loan Depot Park stadium, captivating festival-goers with a mesmerizing spectacle.

The festival made its way down to Miami for the first time ever this past weekend. Burna Boy headlined the event on day one and Wizkid headlined on day two. Black Sherif, Skyla Tylaa, and DJ Prince delivered electrifying performances, further igniting the crowd’s enthusiasm.

Amongst the many artists that performed, Black Sherif was one that different caught the attention of festival-goers. Attendees surrounded the stage while the 21-year-old artist, Black Sherif performed. Making such an impact on the Afro Nation music festival being that this past month he won ‘Artiste of The Year’ at the VGMAs. The VGMAs are the highest honor at Ghana’s most prestigious awards show. It was an experience to get to witness his performance.

Festival goers cheered excitedly as they entered the festival given that they had the opportunity to celebrate their African culture right here in the heart of Miami. Festival attendees immersed themselves in the joyous atmosphere from early noon until late hours of the night, dancing and singing in unison. With two stages strategically placed, guests traversed the festival grounds, basking in the radiant Miami sun and enjoying the Afrobeats’ music while exploring and visiting the different African food vendors set up all around the festival grounds.

Activations from Cîroc and Hennessy were set up through the festival grounds. Enticing festival attendees, offering picturesque settings to capture the essence of their vibrant African-inspired attire.

Afro Nation’s seamless blend of cultures crafted an unparalleled experience, leaving festival-goers with cherished memories of unity and celebration.
