G Shock is a brand that we all know and loved from their first release in 1983 and after 40 years, G shock is still the brand to watch. G shock has been a staple with their signature watch face shape, structure and durability, which makes them stand out from any other company. The vast expansion of their brand, is what consumers love the most about them and we are all looking forward for what’s to come in the near future.
G Shock had a marvelous display of watches starting from the very first model and expanding to the most recent collections. The 40th anniversary watches have the 40th logo engraved in the back and each of the watch bands have “since 1983” which is when G-shock first launched. G shock is known for its shock resistance, water resistant, solar power charged watches and can connect to Bluetooth. As a company, this set them apart from many watch companies because of the vast varieties and multipurpose features that come with each and every watch design. G shock takes pride in having all of their products hand crafted, to the highest standard with workers that care about each and every detail. For example, I had the pleasure of viewing the Oceanus Casio watch which has beautiful gold and silver micro specks that the workers hand pick and place in the watches frame. These are hundreds or thousands of particles that are so small even to the naked eye that are hand crafted to make this watch sparkle and shine for each consumer to enjoy. I appreciate the artistry G-shock combines with manufacturing; not only is the quality impeccable, they care so much about the product to make sure every last detail is curated to perfection. Consumers want to feel like they are treated like family, and G Shock definitely has that quality, there is something for everyone.
G-Shocks newest collection is G- shock move; This collection is mainly for the fitness lover and anyone who is big into working out and wants to track their progress along the way. The watch connects with Bluetooth to an app on your phone and shows all the physical stats needed to progress and motivate an individual to consistently complete their fitness goals. The watch is also fully waterproof, sustainable and light enough to endure any workouts without having that restricting sensation of “wearing a watch”; it is durable and light as a feather. Health has become a priority for many people post pandemic due to Covid-19 outbreak and many individuals have realized that taking care of our bodies now can help prepare for anything in the future, and love the our bodies whole heartily. There were multiple collections that reflected fitness, sustainability, durability and fashion all in one. G-Shock watches look bold and chunky but have incorporated a sleek and everyday wearable style to the more recent collections. I was quite impressed with the variety and definitely am looking forward to buying one in the near future, as they even have a new female collection.
