Iman, Athene, Richard Curtis and Toys“R”US were honored at the 4th annual Save The Children Illumination Gala.
The Save The Children Illumination Gala held on October 25th honored supermodel and activist Iman; gamer, philanthropist and activist Bachir Boumaaza aka “Athene;” writer and Red Nose Day co-founder Richard Curtis; and the organization’s philanthropic corporate partner Toys“R” US. Save The Children is a leading organization investing in childhood. The event supported Save the Children’s efforts to end preventable child deaths and promoted early childhood education. The gala was hosted by Ambassador and Trustee Jennifer Garner, and featured a special performance by country music superstar Jennifer Nettles.
“We were thrilled to recognize such a diverse group of honorees who have done outstanding work for children around the world. It was a wonderful evening celebrating their individual achievements.
