MvVO ART announces Accessible Art Fair New York

Accessible Art Fair New York and its US partner MvVO ART held an exclusive press event Woolworth Building, where media partner artnet has its offices.

The event, held on Wednesday, September 7th, 2016 was an occasion to announce the first Accessible Art Fair New York edition this November.

Perhaps unknown in the United States, Accessible Art Fair has been taking place in Brussels since 2007. It has been a hub to discover new talent and an opportunity for artists’ to exhibit their work to a distinguished audience.

This year’s Accessible Art Fair New York for emerging and midcareer artists takes place at The National Arts Club in Gramercy Park, New York throughout the month of November. Approximately 60 carefully selected artists will exhibit paintings, sculptures and photography encompassing a variety of styles.

The New York edition will be directed by Maria van Vlodrop, with Stephanie Manasseh as Chief Curator joined by Isaac Aden as guest curator. At the charming and intimate event, guests heard from Maria van Vlodrop, Founder of MvVO ART as well as Isaac Aden, guest curator Accessible Art Fair New York, Rosalie Jovanovic, Artnet Editor in Chief and Marcel Ceuppens, who is an Accessible Art Fair New York Participating Artist.

MvVO ART is an innovative art venture launched in 2015 by Maria van Vlodrop to create opportunities for emerging artists, collectors and corporate sponsors to discover each other and develop powerful partnerships. At the event, guests enjoyed artnet’s unique headquarters, drinks provided by Stoli Elit Ultra Luxury Vodka, gifts of Neuhaus Belgian Chocolate upon exit. Other sponsors include The Lowell and BelCham (the BelgianAmerican Chamber of Commerce in the US).

What more, it’s pulled a stunning jury to select the artists, from Sotheby’s, Gagosian Gallery, Christie’s Collectrium and Artnet. It makes good sense since The National Arts Club’s mission is to stimulate, foster and promote public interest in the arts providing artists with a platform to be discovered by the art world, collectors and the general public.
