Sony Hall’s award-winning fashion production company, Runway 7 celebrates their 10th season of creativity and diversity.

Over four dynamic days from February 12–15, Runway 7 transformed Sony Hall into a bustling epicenter of global fashion, celebrating its 10th annual showcase with a powerful emphasis on accessibility and international talent . The production platform, known for opening its doors to the public, hosted over 85 brands from more than 15 countries, bridging the gap between industry insiders and eager fashion enthusiasts .

True to its mission of fostering cross-cultural dialogue, Runway 7 dedicated significant real estate to Latin American creativity with its “Made in Argentina” showcase, a curated edit of designers weaving heritage techniques into contemporary streetwear silhouettes. This commitment to global perspective was echoed throughout the lineup, which offered a masterclass in textile diversity. Structured architectural looks gave way to liquid silks, illustrating the breadth of craftsmanship on display.

Ommy by Omy delivered a moment of daring sensuality with a collection featuring sculptural rope-based dresses. In stark contrast, Sparkle by Karen transported the audience to the neon-lit streets of Hong Kong, infusing the runway with vibrant, patterned daywear. Others looked to the cosmos for inspiration; designer Xijia Cheng presented an otherworldly, celestial collection defined by innovative fabric manipulations, including a sculptural top ingeniously crafted from repurposed keyboard keys—a testament to the imaginative spirit driving this season’s presentations.

Beyond the clothes, the event fostered a vibrant, inclusive community, where guests from around the globe gathered in Sony Hall to celebrate emerging fashion from around the world. From rope and silk to recycled tech, this eclectic mix underscored Runway 7’s enduring role as a launchpad filled with daring experimentation and diverse cultural narratives.
