This past Sunday we had the pleasure of attending the last performance of Young Thug’s HIHORSE’D tour.
With openers Divine Council and 21 Savage, the venue was nothing short of a trap house. The medium sized venue, Terminal 5 was jam packed with barely 18 fans who managed to sneak out on a Sunday night for Thugga’s last stop on his tour. Terminal 5 was absolute chaos with more than a few inebriated fans. To be fair, a lot of the crowd pulled up to the function lit, some with fake IDs and tickets, unable to join the party. But for those fans who were able to make it in, they definitely got their money’s worth.
Divine Council warmed the crowd up, but the trapping really started when young 21 savage hit the stage. The crowd went wild as he rapped the popular verse “young savage why you trapping so hard?.” While the crowd loved the both acts they were getting restless waiting for the main act. Thugga arrived fashionably late, nearly an hour after his official set time and fans went wild. The moshing began even before Young Thug could grab the mic. He performed the best of JEFFERY as well as Slime Season 2, with his whole crew on stage showing love, including girlfriend Jerrika. Thugga got a little too hype and jumped into the crowd, attempting to crowd surf which ended badly with him landing head first to the ground. Nevertheless the party carried on and he was safely pulled from the crowd by security. Young Thug always manages to give a great performance and sounds as good live as he does on his mixed and mastered tracks.
