Last Thursday Young Dolph held a pop-up show to celebrate the release of his album “Bulletproof”.
Last week Young Dolph pulled up to Subrosa to give a great, albeit short performance. Two opening acts graced the stage before Dolph.
Up first was New Jersey rapper Callistus who warmed up the crowd then came Harlem’s own Icy Gang led by Lil SNS. Icy Gang along with Jaquae had the crowd mobbing out and turned the function into a trap house.
Fans went crazy when Dolph arrived and performed some of his hits like “Get Paid,” “Cut It,” “Gelato,” “Preach,” and “Play Wit Yo B****.” Dolph rocked out with his signature diamond encrusted Dolphin chain and killed his set before calling it a night.
Young Dolph released his debut studio album “King of Memphis” in 2016 which charted at no. 49. Probably known best for his feature on O.T. Genesis’s hit single “Cut It,” Young Dolph is currently signed to Paper Route Empire. Young Dolph has been releasing mixtapes since 2008, the same time around which he started pursuing music seriously after a series of wake up calls. A year later with another album out, Dolph does not plan on stopping anytime soon. Bulletproof dropped April 1st and is available on Spotify and Apple Music.
