New Daddy’s Home trailer starring Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg is now available to watch on Youtube.
In the film Brad (Will Ferrell) is a suburban radio executive trying to be the best stepdad to his wife’s (Linda Cardellini) kids. His efforts are complicated by the appearance of the two children’s father Dusty played by Wahlberg. Dusty’s wild and mooching behavior leads to a “Dad-off” between the two for the kids’ affections.
Motorcycle riding, Christmas in July, skateboarding and antagonistic story telling are some of the competitions elements that are highlighted in the trailer. All the of the events seem to include the over the top physical comedy that Ferrel is known for.
The film also includes the infamous half time show at the Laker vs Pelicans game where Ferrell threw a basketball at a cheerleaders and face. Ferrell was quickly dragged off the court by security immediately after the drunken throw back in January of this year. The event was of course staged and created early interest in the film with photos, vines and videos quickly appearing online after the scene.
Comedian Hannibal Buress, Paul Scheer and model Alessandra Ambrosio will also make an appearance in the film. The film is set to be released Dec. 25 2015.
