Boseman brings Thurgood Marshall back to life this coming fall.
Thurgood Marshall was a young attorney for the NAACP. Commonly known as the man who changed America, Marshall was an important part of the fight for freedom and equality.Marshall argued before the Supreme Court and for the victory in Brown v. Board of Education and sat on the United States Supreme Court.
On October 13, 2017, Chadwick Boseman will be bringing Marshall back to life in the new motion picture MARSHALL. The movie tells the story of a crucial case he litigated in his early days alongside attorney Sam Friedman, a young lawyer who had absolutely no experience in criminal law. They defended a black chauffeur accused by his white employer of sexual assault and attempted murder.
The film is directed by Reginald Hudlin and executive produced by Jake and Michael Koskoff. Working alongside Boseman are Josh Gad, Kate Hudson, Dan Stevens, Sterling K. Brown and James Cromwell.
