This week in the Big Apple a select group of Gothamites were so lucky to experience VINILE Chophouse.
A grand celebration toasted in the New Age Italian-inspired Chophouse before it opens its doors later this month. The new establishment at 31 W 17th Street is worthy of loud applause a joyous smiles. It is destined to be as big of a legendary hotspot as its big sister property of Vinyl Steakhouse.
VINILE offers a unique blend of Italian, American & Mediterranean-inspired cuisine while continuing the tradition of serving top-tier prime beef that has made Vinyl Steakhouse a beloved name. It will be the first Italian Restaurant in NYC to be based around Prime Chophouse cuisine and high-end service that puts vinyl music, ambiance and overall experience on an equal value to the food and customer service experience.
The restaurant boldly features two private dining rooms, seating up to 45 guests in the Mezzanine and a Chef’s Table located in the open kitchen where guests can interact with Chef Joe Roperti and enjoy exclusive chef features created just for this table.
“We wanted to explore the depth of our successful creation, Vinyl Steakhouse, by venturing into a more elevated Italian-inspired cuisine, while still providing the best prime beef this city has to offer,” said Kevin Flannery, Owner of Vinyl Steakhouse and VINILE. Flannery also noticed a fundamental need for VINILE based on his experience at Vinyl Steakhouse, “We had a lot of reasons to start this concept so close to Vinyl Steakhouse- we had no private dining rooms and our guests were clearly yearning for us to handle their private dining needs. We also felt the Italian Dining scene had some of the same stuffy standards we aimed to break free from with Vinyl Steakhouse- the bowties, the white tablecloths and the tired, uninspired music on an iPad- at VINILE our approach will be to have an incredibly fun & exciting time while you enjoy Italian inspired Chophouse cuisine & genuine hospitality,” states Flannery.
VINILE will feature one the city’s largest collections of Italian & Italian American records, including hundreds of Frank Sinatra albums that guests can select from, offering guests a unique dining experience that celebrates both great Italian food and iconic music.
