Summer officially kicked off this weekend with the fabulous return of the annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic.
More than 7,000 spectators came out via land and sea to Liberty State Park to witness world-renowned polo player Nacho Figueras of Team Veuve Clicquot and his wife Delfina Blaquier take on Team Liberty Comets.
The thrilling match was colorful and captivating just as much as the delightful parade of fashion on the grounds.The lively and fashion-forward crowd celebrated a beautiful afternoon with breathtaking views of the New York City skyline complete with picnicking, and, of course, Veuve Clicquot Champagne.

The surprising wind and chill June day weather could not keep the day from sizzling with breathtaking style and sportsmanship. “It’s chilly but this is still the hottest ticket in summer,” said attendee Noel Spencer.
Broadway star Brennyn Lark performed the National Anthem followed by Karen Gillan participating in the ceremonial ball toss. Over in the VIP tent, notable guests included Emma Stone, Simone Ashley, Jeremy Pope, Danai Gurira, Karen Gillan, Darren Criss, Coco Rocha, Nicky Hilton, Joy Sunday, Ashlyn Harris, Cristo Fernandez, Ava Capri and more.
