Variety, the Children’s Charity of Southern California, presents the 9th annual Charity Poker and Casino Night!
“The Heart of Show Business” doesn’t always revolve around movie sets and glamour, as Variety the Children’s Charity brings on an entirely new meaning to those words. For over 75 years, Variety has devoted their efforts to provide life-changing and life-enhancing assistance to children with special needs. From the time they were founded in 1941, Variety has been able to raise more than $2.9 billion for children on a global scale. This past Wednesday was just another way Variety continues to impact their local communities and receive a tremendous amount of support to further impact the lives of hundreds of children. 
The 9th annual Variety Charity Poker and Casino Night was an evening filled with fun, talent, and generosity. Over 600 guests joined Variety on the legendary Paramount Studios lot, and were presented with a gourmet dinner, vintage snacks, casino games, a themed photo booth, and so much more! Hosts, Bruce Buffer and Jamie Gold, carried the entire night with such enthusiastic energy, which set the tone for the never ending enjoyment throughout the event. Some of Hollywood’s favorite stars were also in attendance; Sasha Pieterse, Jake T. Austin, Aubrey Anderson-Emmons, Austin Mahone, Corey Feldman, Perez Hilton, Layla Warren, and many other high profile guests showed their support for the event.
These celebrities weren’t the only stars of the night, as six Variety kids, ranging from ages 2-16, were presented with mobility bikes and are now able to partake in one of the more exhilarating childhood activities of being able to ride a bike. The bikes were specifically custom made for each of the children who then made their way to the red carpet to show their latest riding style. After the Variety kids had their paparazzi moment, they continued to ride their bikes throughout the studio lot and delight in the joys of their newest cruise.

We are so grateful to all of our celebrity friends who came out to support this worthy cause and who helped us raised critical funds to provide programs and services to children in need in our community. It was incredible to see the huge smiles on the Variety Kids’ faces as they cruised the Paramount lot on their mobility bikes. We’re looking forward to seeing everyone back at Paramount Studios next Summer for our 10th Annual event”, said host Jamie Gold.
