The US Open is serving up fun and thrills this season in New York City. Big name stars to up and coming pros are helping net days and nights and excitement all over the Big Apple.
At Hyatt Regency Times Square, tennis fans, hotel guests and locals got together for “Pickleball with the Pros. The event featured appearances by top ranked tennis pros and fan favorites including McCartney Kessler (USA), Barbora Krejcikova (Czech Republic), and Danielle Collins (USA). The tennis athletes played pickleball in an exhibition match against each other and then with guests in a life-sized pop-up court in the hotel’s porte-cochere.

At the event guests mingled over Pantalones Tequila drinks set up at a bar courtside as they cheered on the players, before they took over the courts in Flushing, Queens. Once the matches were done, guests were treated to a reception at Cue 48, the hotel’s restaurant on the second floor, overlooking Times Square. The activation is the second annual for Hyatt Regency Times Square. The hotel is also celebrating the US Open by offering a package that comes with signed tennis balls, among other fun amenities, as part of its programming.

Taste of Tennis: The Park Terrace Hotel took place at Branch, the hotel’s private members and guests lounge. The day brought together top-ranked tennis pros Belinda Bencic, Tomas Etcheverry, Martin Damm, and Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard for “Game. Set. SPIN.,” a US Open celebration held in partnership with SPIN, the original ping pong social club.
Ahead of the 2026 US Open, the pros traded their tennis racquets for ping pong paddles, going head-to-head in exhibition matches and taking on guests for friendly games at Branch overlooking Bryant Park. The evening also featured cocktails, bites–including a tennis court shaped cake- and opportunities for guests to meet and interact with the players before they headed to Queens for the tournament.

Jessica Alba, Logan Paul and Dan Reynolds joined Raising Cane’s owner and founder Todd Graves at another pre-match meet up at Faena, before joining Graves in his suite for the Men’s U.S. Open Final, capping off the weekend. Also in the suite were Tate McRae, Dakota Johnson Sombr, Tyriq Withers, Camila Cabello and Jack Harlow.
